For 40 years Anne has lived, studied and worked with dogs and their owners, ‘that’s a lot of dogs and a lot of behavioural problems’, and she still loves every minute of her work.

She started her career back in the seventies working in breeding and boarding kennels. She prepared dogs for the show ring, showed and run ring craft classes.
Over the years she taught a great many basic pet obedience and agility classes.

In the 80’s and 90’s she competed and judged in agility all around the country, in mini, midi and standard dog sections.

For 40 years Anne has also been a dog groomer of all breeds, including show preparation, hand striping and cat grooming.

All her adult life she has owned multiple dogs, which she says has taught her so much about dog body language and the needs of dogs living in our society.

Anne has trained and uses her own therapy dogs; they are a very important part of her behavioural team. These dogs are specially trained and extremely effective when working with dog to dog aggression problems. This allows her to assess the type and degree of aggression your dog may have, so they can put the best method of treatment in place.

Anne works hands on with dogs and owners, demonstrating the techniques and making sure the owners can accomplish the required results. Regular weekly follow up sessions are recommended, to give continued back up training.

Anne runs her Shrewsbury based business ‘Roann’s Dog Therapy Team’, which deals with Behavioural problems and training classes. She also provides Dog Treadmill sessions, and ‘Paws and Toes Aerobics classes’, which are fitness and rehabilitation classes for dog and owner. Also heelwork and free style to music fun sessions.

Dog body language workshops are regularly given and talks and demonstrations are available.
