Adem Fehmi

Adem's passion is to help people to understand their dogs and to help dogs to understand their humans! With his intuitive ability to read dogs, Adem's modern approach and way of explanation helps to bridge the communication gap between owner and dog.

Adem’s fascination with dogs started as a young child and since then he has studied, observed, worked, lived with, and breathed these amazing creatures. He holds a bachelor’s degree in animal science (BSc Hons) and has worked full time helping owners with their dogs (of all breeds, shape, size and temperament) for over 20 years.

Adem works throughout the UK offering a range of services from 1-2-1 behaviour consultations to temperament assessments for organisations such as foster and social service teams. He has appeared on both TV and radio and regularly contributes his professional opinion and expertise to various national newspapers and online media sources including Country Life, Countryfile Live, The Independent, The Mail, The Metro, amongst others.

Previous TV appearances include being appointed as the official Behaviourist on Channel 4 for the world-renowned Crufts dog show, appearing on ITV’s Love Your Weekend, BBC Breakfast, and, most recently, the renowned Blue Peter on CBBC. Other commitments include attending live events such as Amazon PetFest, DogFest, Pawfest, BBC CountryFile Live, Dogstival, Discover Dogs, the Game Fair, The Greenwich Dog Show, and Space Safari. At these events Adem holds live demonstrations and talks on stage or in an arena, offers 1-2-1 ask the expert sessions, and educates the audience on how to understand their four legged best friends. He is also able to consult on and offer welfare guidance for events as well as photo or video shoots involving dogs.

Adem also frequently consults as a canine expert for large brands such as Barking Heads, Rover.com, and Tavo Pets, and is a registered Pro Member of Kids Around Dogs (KAD). In addition, he is both a volunteer and assessor for Pets as Therapy (PAT).

Adem’s training methods are positive in their approach, stemming from his many years of expertise as well as modern day science.
