Clare Drew

Clare is a dog trainer and behaviourist with more than 30 years of hands-on experience living and working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.

Sharing life with a large multi-breed pack. Including toy breeds, gun-dogs, guarding breeds, and livestock guardians, this has given her a deep practical understanding of canine behaviour, communication, and the unique needs of different dogs.

Qualified with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour & Training and Chairwoman of The Guild of Dog Trainers, she is passionate about helping owners build strong, positive relationships with their dogs through a kind, holistic, and realistic approach to training.

Her work focuses not only on obedience and behaviour, but on understanding dogs in the bigger picture, considering breed traits, emotional wellbeing, environment, and the individual dog in front of her.

Professional, approachable, and down-to-earth, Clare is dedicated to supporting both dogs and their owners with empathy, knowledge, and practical guidance.

She is also involved in founding ADOi, the Advanced Dog Ownership Initiative, promoting responsible, informed, and modern dog ownership.
