Pet Insurance
Full Members and Fellow Members (MCFBA or FCFBA) of the Canine and Feline Behaviour Association are approved and recognised by most pet insurance companies that offer cover for Pet Behaviour Problems. This is via the clients local a veterinary surgeon. Any veterinary surgeon can refer even one you are not normally using. (Pet Insurance does not cover dog training).
We suggested that the client contacts their insurance provider in advance of booking a consultation to check the details of cover and or exceptions within their specific policy type. If further clarification of how the CFBA members work with regard to insurance they should contact the CFBA Full Member directly who will explain procedure/protocol and their participation in this. Not all Pet Insurance companies cover pet behaviour problems.
Associate Members (ACFBA) charge for consultations at their own rate, but cannot see clients through Pet Insurance via the CFBA.
